Buffalo Air Handling roots were established in 1878. In the early 1900's, Willis Carrier pioneered air conditioning as we know it today. Our connections with Willis Carrier date back to these early days.

Today's custom air handling unit designs are derived from knowledge gained through years of experience.

Custom air handling units established a market niche in the mid 1950's. The custom air handling unit markets continue to grow. Our Big Buffalo, Model K, and BA 2000 units serve these markets that demand quality equipment.

The Buffalo Air Handling facility in Amherst, Virginia was built in 1977 to exclusively build air handling units. Today, Buffalo Air Handling produces units for many markets including pharmaceutical, hospital and health care, chemical, telecommunication, semi-conductor, biotech, institutional, pulp and paper, food, and automotive.
